Our 2023 Review: Sivanis Apartments In Naousa, Paros Greece

Swimming pool area outside Sivanis Apartments - Greece

We loved our stay at the Sivanis Apartments in Naousa, which is why we couldn’t resist sharing a little review. This is based on our stay during October 2023, which as you may know is that period after peak season. We had booked a ground floor apartment with bedroom, kitchen, bathroom, living room and a private outdoor terrace area. The Sivanis Apartments didn’t seem fully booked up during our stay, with easy access to the swimming pool during our stay and it being the perfect distance from the village center.

Our Sivanis Apartment

Well what should we start with?! Our Sivanis apartment was perfect. The photos from Airbnb 100% matched what we received, everything was clean, spacious and overall stunning. The greek style was minimalist but decorative to make it still feel like home during our stay.

The kitchen area had everything. We ate out nearly the whole time during our stay, but did order pizza in one day. But we did use the glasses, bottle opener, coffee machine, sink and fridge.

The bathroom was spacious, with plenty of room for toiletries inside the shower area and around the sink. We had plenty of towels to use, as well as additional cushions and blankets if needed. There were also separate towels for the swimming pool area, which was ideal since we had forgotten to bring any ourselves!

The bedroom was romantic, openly designed with the rest of the room. The lights were a bit bright for reading in bed, but it was cosy and comfy. It was designed and built in a way that it was all in one room, but at the same time a different level with a few steps higher. This was pretty cool that you did feel separated from the kitchen area.

The living room area had a lounge chair with a tv and little tables for your drink. This was right opposite from the kitchen area on the same level.

Lastly there was an outside terrace with table, chairs and a clothes dryer. We didn’t use this space ourselves, but it was pretty big and private just for our apartment.

There was an airco machine that you can use, which we did a few times during the 27c heat we had, with it working as expected.

Sivanis Apartments Facilities

The highlight of the Sivanis Apartments is the swimming pool! This gorgeous private but shared area is the place-to-be after a busy day of exploring. There is an outside shower nearby as well as plenty of lounge chairs and seating areas to sit at. We found ourselves enjoying a dip in the pool even during October, and then read our books in the afternoon sunshine here. It was also very peaceful, with the sound of the road nearby very minimal. As the pool is also lower than the walls, its also pretty private from any locals walking past.

Contact with the hosts

We didn’t have much contact with the hosts as everything was clear. Checking in was very easy being self-check in and we found the apartment easily with our taxi assisting from the airport.

They had sent us a few guides through Airbnb as well to help with finding some restaurants, supermarkets and car rental locations in the area. Since we were visiting outside of peak season, some places were closed, but that was expected based on it being October.

In the information shared from the hosts, they also included a local taxi number, the local bus timetable and costs to expect for each. This was really helpful, as we in the end took a taxi from the airport, and then a taxi to the port that we had reserved in advance. Helpful in advance without any stress of being late!

When leaving, we also confirmed with them our checkout time (which we picked 11am). We did not meet them in person, but had a friendly chat on the Airbnb messaging instead. We can imagine that they would be super helpful if you had any specific questions.

Location

Everything was walkable from the apartment, with it being just a 7 minute walk down right to the water’s edge of Naousa. Here were the restaurants, stores and more. This would not be convenient if you had difficulties walking, as you have to climb up a little to the church before taking all the steps down into the village of Naousa.

The surroundings of the apartment were of other houses and a little supermarket just 1 minute away. This was super ideal if wanting to make something at the apartment in the kitchen, have a snack or something to drink.

There were 12 parking spots available to guests at the Sivanis Apartments, which during our visit we only spotted a few cars each day using this. But we can imagine during peak season it could be full.

Our Experience Review Sivanis Apartments

We absolutely loved our stay here. Just what we needed for a late October visit to Greece!

Everything was perfect, clean and peaceful. The pool was great, with plenty of seating during our stay. The apartment itself was spotless, no dust in sight and well maintained. We loved the design and overall vibe. We slept peacefully, kitchen had everything we needed and the shower was great after a long day of exploring.

Here is the Airbnb LINK for apartment that we stayed in directly, but they have more apartments in the building so check their profile for all listings!

We would 100% come back and highly recommend it to those wanting to visit!
