When it snows, many cities come to a standstill and are not prepared no matter how much salt they spread on the roads. Rotterdam is usually prepared as much as they can, with trams and trains trying their best to keep on time. But thats okay if there are some delays as the city of Rotterdam become a beautiful snowy paradise! The climate turns to freezing point, needing to dig out your winter coat, gloves and scarf. I love these type of snow forecasts, specially if I’m free from work too! Here is a collection of photos we took during the snow that settled for a few days in Rotterdam on December 10th, 2017. Our walk took place within Kralingen and Oude Haven.
Couldn’t resist a hot chocolate with whipped cream by the cosy fire at a local café!
We loved how the light beams of this Mariniers Monument lit up by the falling snow!
